NEWS... Spencer Brewer's Acoust Cafe show has been rescheduled to September 27th. Buy advanced tickets on the right side of this page now!

Now in its second year, the Acoustic Cafe is gearing up for a fantastic season. Those of you that made it out last year know that the series was a great success and we are excited to get the concerts rolling once again.

For those of you that haven't made it out to an Acoustic Cafe concert yet, you are in for a treat. Concerts take place in a relaxed setting behind the Ukiah Music Center under parachutes with lighting and tables in the style of a Parisian cafe. Amazing food will be available from Tamara Frey (we mean AMAZING!) along with a drink table selling wine and beer to benefit the Ukiah Players Theater.

Concerts start around 7:17 pm and gates open at 6:00 pm for general admission seating... so show up early for the best seats! This year a $10 donation is requested and season tickets for all six concerts are available for only $50 (below). Tickets can be purchased in advance here online (VIA PayPal...no account required) or in person at the Ukiah Music Center.

Those purchasing tickets online will be added to a will-call list and should print a copy of their receipt in place of a paper ticket.

*July 26 -- Alex de Grassi

July 12th - Bill Noteman & the Rockets
Bill Noteman is an amazing harmonica virtuoso and an extremely entertaining front man - skillfully supported by original members and local legends "Mojo" Larry Platz on guitar, David "Rockin 88's" Neft on keyboards, bassist Dave "Fingers" Falco and new member, drummer Steve "The Shuffler" DuBois . If you are one of the few who have never heard these guys you are missing an incredibly tight, high energy dance band that will leave you jumpin on the floor begging them to play one more!
July 26th - Alex de Grassi

Those of you that made it to Alex de Grassi's show last year know that it was not to be missed! Playing to certainly the largest crowd of the Acoustic Cafe series, Alex showed why he is one of the living legends of the steel string fingerstyle genre. Do not wait to get your tickets for this show as it will certainly reach capacity! This is an amazing opportunity to see a world class musician in a very intimate setting... did we mention that it is only $10?!

August 2nd - Tri Tip Trio
Bruce and Lloyd's musical chemistry began in 1991 with the formation of the Zydeco flames. their magic sounds come alive again with the Tri Tip Trio. with Lloyd's mesmerizing washboard, harmonica, and soulful vocals, Bruce's funky, bluesy accordion, and Tyler's stick to it and do it drums, tri Tip is a fireball of hot dance hall music!
August 9th 2008 - John Mattern Band
Mattern's husky dark tone, flowing melodic lines and ability to groove, reveal his respect and influence of the great historic saxophone masters. Working within this tradition, and whether he is playing an original composition, a classic ballad or a straight-ahead jazz standard; John always plays true to himself and is exploring his own territory. He is currently completing his debut album as leader of the John Mattern Band featuring some of the finest musicians on the west coast.
August 23rd 2008 - Will Siegel and Friends
Returning for his second year to the Acoustic Cafe stage, Will Siegel and his band of local pros are sure to provide an evening of memorable music. From rootsy blues, to jazz, to bluegrass, Will covers the full spectrum of what has been coined "Americana". Will is going to close us down this year, so expect a party! Join us as we celebrate another successful year Acoustic Cafe. See you then!
